I dive a 3mm in the summer in West Palm.

You may want to ask the mods to move this thread up to the Florida Conch Divers forum

If you tend to get chilled on repeat dives, the you'll be fine in you 7mm suit, just pull the neck open and let a little water in if/when you start to feel warm. Otherwise, just rent a 3mm suit for the day from the op you are diving with.

A ScubaBoard Staff Message...

Moved to Florida Conch...

I get cold very easy and I am fine in my 5mm at WPB. This includes my dives in December/January (though I did begin to feel a chill when the temp hit 60 degrees Farenheit). I have yet to encounter being too warm in the water but I figure that can be an issue.

I'm diving off Boynton tomorrow in a 3mm so I'll let you know. Three weeks ago I was off WPB in a 5mm and that was plenty. A little too warm on my second dive.
