Haven't been in about 3 years. Interested in hearing about it though. Are you swimming to it or boat?

We launched a canoe at the park on Shole Line Blvd. It was a pretty hot day, yesterday and the park was full by 10:30 or so. We did two dives, no other divers or manatees there yesterday.
The sulfide layer was pretty thick starting about 60 feet to about 75. Viz wasn't bad maybe 20 above and 50+ below the sulfide. Lots of decaying vegetation made the water smell pretty bad from about 30 feet to the sulfide.
Not alot to see, a mix of fresh and saltwater fish, some stone formations, a couple solution tubes, tons of graffiti, silt, tree branches, garbage and a lone crab trap. My son spent some time playing on the rope swing 20 feet above the hole.
There is a small spring about 12 feet in diameter about 50 feet South of the hole that runs into the river. Crystal clear water and decent flow. It's clogged with tree branches, leaves and other debris. I thought I read somewhere that someone actualy dove it back in the day. I think you'd have to be a snake to get in there though.
