I saw it east of Florida earlier and didn't think it'd survive crossing the peninsula but surprise surprise surprise. May not develop into much but may dock some boats int he Gulf. From Tropical Storm: Computer Model Hurricane Forecasts : Weather Underground

As long as it doesn't interfere with my flight from IAH to CZM Sat. we'll get along just fine! The Gulf Coast needs a little rain.
Yeah, I like one model that shows it trying to make the Texas Panhandle. Bring it on...!
