This is my setup in a drysuit.

BP 5.5
WB 8
Reg 2
Can Light 2.5
Tank 11 (Full)
===========
Total (- 29 Pounds)

Here is the question: (Thanks in advance for any suggestions or comments anyone might have)

Is the S25 truly 25# of lift or is that conservative. I use a 30# wing and it is smaller than the S25 when If hold them next to each other. The 30# works well with this setup. The S25 should float my rig at the surface minus the 8#'s on my waist at the beginning of the dive. (Rig is 21# negative) Dry suit at the surface can account for the 8 pounds on my waist.

I'm trying to stay pretty streamlined - Would the S25 be cutting it to close or should I go with the S38, which seems pretty big to me in the store. How does the S25 compare in usable lift to a Halcyon 30 or Oxy 30 or Hog 32?

Thanks.

1) Your total ballast implies you suit is about 20 lbs positive.

2) Your *RIG* is about 21 lbs negative (Hint, your rig does not include your weight belt).

Minimum lift is the greater of 1 or 2
