Shot and killed off Boca Raton this week

While the only good lionfish is the one in the frying pan, I'm not sure the lionfish is damaging the reef more than the pictured diver though.

Holy dangling octopus Batman. And it looks like he's kneeling on the reef.
 
Agreed, the diver seems to be doing far more damage. Wonder what that dangling brass snap is for as well.
And the console does not appear to be secure. Had it not been shot the trainwreck about to happen would have taken it out.

the diver pictured is kneeling(LETS NOT FORGET THE FINS!) on a barrel sponge to be exact and approaching a vase sponge with the left leg!!!

All of the above posts are correct; though I've seen divers going after lobsters with complete disregard for the reef(s) and the damage they are causing as they try to fish lobsters out of a crevice. Neither treatment of the reef(s) is good. I am glad there is one less lionfish!!
