Hey I'm wondering if anyone is up for a dive in the ottawa river, behind the mint? I have heard theres all kinds of stuff back there..
I've never done a dive in the ottawa, so if anyone can let me know where to get in and what is down there it would be much appreciated!

I do not know nor am I familiar with this river, but have fun. It sounds like an interesting spot. Post some pics of your finds. Good luck!

I've done a quick search myself, and there really doesn't seem to be much info out there. Other than there seems to be a consensus it is like diving in tea. And there are obviously some currents to contend with. Which LDS shop do you dive out of? A good place to start with questions, I would think.

Plenty to see in the Ottawa, well maybe feel anyway as the water is very tannic. Just below PArliment is the wreck of the Otter. Watch diving this area and the mint as these sites are downstream from the Gatineau sewage treatment.

Have fun exploring
