Im making a move into sidemount diving and I'm having trouble picking a system. I have narrowed it down a little but there is a little price swing between the two. Any sugestions?

What are you diving(tanks, exposure)? Where are you diving(warm, cold)? How are you diving(primary tanks only, or the possibility to carry 2-3 stages/deco bottles in)?

drysuit.. and most likely standard al80's. cold water, and for now primary tanks only.. possibly 1 deco bottle

Yeah i have researched this one a bit. like the design but the pricetag pushed me away from that. Really expensive for what it is. :0

The price difference is much less when you consider what is included with a complete Razor2.

The complete Razor2 includes a redundant wing,

&

Pouch

&

Spare Side Mount Bungee

&

Universal Spare Kit.

Take a look at the Armadillo too--cleaner design than the Nomad, but in some ways closer to its design than the Razor.

Doesn't the Jt come with bungies and everything you need to dive it?

You've missed my point. The Razor (complete system) includes an *Extra* side mount bungee & pouch. This extra SM bungee is typically carried as a spare when diving.

The pouch is pretty significant. Thigh pockets are harder to access with SM tanks. There's more sewing labor in the pouch than in a wing......
