I am hoping that someone who was out at Fantasy Lake NC last Sunday (6/25) may have found and picked up a Suunto Vyper forgetfully abandoned at the shelter north of the beach entry. None the rescue class students I DMC'd for nor the insrtructors picked it up, also, the staff at FL did not see it on their garbage pickup run and I went back and searched the area to no avail...

I think I saw more than one Vyper at the shelter that day - wish the shop would sell something besides Suunto so there would be a little more variety. I saw the OW students walking out of the water as I was driving away. Could it have accidentally ended up in one of their bags?

Sorry about your misfortune. I'd have hell trying to sell my gear as I mark my name on all of it with paint sticks from Walmart - varied colors. Good luck

We the last ones to leave...One of my fellow DMC's said that he saw it on one of the benches before he left... I dont remember if I grabbed it and left it on the roof of my car or if I left it on the bench or what...

The shop is a dealer for Mares,Zeagle, Halcyon, Dive Rite and a bunch others but mainly keeps Suunto in stock. The other brands can be ordered... I need to figure out what I want to get to replace it now...
