Details please! craracer June 28th, 2011, 12:39 AM +1 Spill the beans! Jorbar1551 June 28th, 2011, 01:18 AM I kind of a "I work across the street from you, can you hook me up" kind of deal. Haha craracer June 28th, 2011, 12:23 PM How about a "I work across the street from you, can you hook us up for a group buy" kind of deal? parrysec September 27th, 2011, 01:04 PM I have a contact that can get them in the low $500's rgiles October 25th, 2011, 04:21 PM I have one and used it as a primary light, just playing around. Works great and my buddies turned their lights off and relied on the Sola 1200. Doesn't last long at full power. Biggest drawback - The velcro wrist straps - HATE THEM. I have tried emailing Light & Motion but get no reply. They don't have a phone number that you can call so I'm very disappointed in the customer service. Want to try and rig a goodman handle that will collapse into my drysuit pocket. So there you have it. drbill October 26th, 2011, 08:58 AM I love mine (used as video lights though... flood vs spot). However I think one of mine has a bad battery. I'm sure L&M will take care of that when I get back to SoCal. They've always been great on support. mmerriman November 29th, 2011, 12:59 PM yup - real hard to find that phone number prominently displayed on thier website Light and Motion 300 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA. 93940 831.645.1525 I have one and used it as a primary light, just playing around. FlyinV November 30th, 2011, 12:56 AM The new handles won't fit last years lights.... which sucks as those velcro strips stink. Early adopters kinda got hung out on this. but still they are nice lights. Jorbar1551 December 19th, 2011, 08:20 PM So I have had my Sola 1200 for a few months now and done about 10 night dives using the light. All I can say is that it has performed flawlessly. All of my dive buddies are jealous as it out performs their lights in almost every way. The light is extremely bright, and I've found out that in low vis waters of monterey, the brightest setting is pointless because it either blows out the area(wide angle) or the visibility wont allow the narrow beam to penetrate much. I must say I really like the velcro handstraps, although they are a little tough to put on before the dive. I've used a goodman handle a few times, and this is much easier and more comfortable. Zesty December 31st, 2011, 11:08 AM I have just removed the cheap Velcro and run a length of 3/16 bungee cord to create two loops - works GREAT!
