The school my 13 year old nephew attends is having a seafood festival. Each student has to do a report on a sea creature and bring in enough of that fish to feed 10 people, does anyone have enough lionfish to contribute to this or know of a fish market where I could purchase lionfish(preferably in the Fort Lauderdale area)?

Here's the big problem, I need it by tomorrow as the Seafood Festival is Thursday, I know, short notice but I just found out about this seconds ago.

I think it would be great if he could do a report for his school on the dangers of invasive lionfish and the importance of eating them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, feel free to PM me with any suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

You could do what a lot of restaurants do....buy some other kind of fish and just say that it is lionfish. The kids will never know! :eyebrow:

Double :bump:

Crap!
We had loads of them this weekend.
I binged on LF Saturday evening.
Between the eels, the bugs, and the people, none are left.

Chug
Only killed one this weekend.

The dive shop at LBTS has five in his aquarium. Maybe he'd sell them.

Killed a big 'un yesterday, but it would take too long to ship him to ya.
