Following the tradition of other long standing on-going threads about the Blue Heron Bridge (WPB) and Boynton Beach .

This thread is only about the reefs (both natural and artificial), the vast array of critters, the daily conditions, and a place to share your photos. While mentioning the boat you dove from is acceptable, this is not the place to discuss the many dive operations, dive training, accommodations, etc. as there are many other threads on those topics. Dive ops do loved to be talked about so give them their own headlines by starting a new thread. The intent of this thread to be a “non-denominational” gathering of shared experiences. With your help, we hope this thread will be a comprehensive and detailed source of information. We encourage you to share here your diving adventures and creature encounters in the Upper Keys.

Life (and diving) in the Upper Keys is dictated by weather information from the Molasses Reef NOAA weather station, MLRF1.
Perusing the many previous threads and trip reports will yield a lot of great information. Here is one recent conversation regarding how that data translates into real diving conditions. Wind speeds and direction affect on sea conditions

The inspiration for this thread came from the local prolific posters, reefman and deeper thoughts. Over the years, reefman and deeper thoughts have been sharing the daily happenings in their “neighborhood”. Reefman’s threads often include TimG’s amazing images. TimG writes a weekly dive topic column for the local newspaper Diving | www.keysnet.com.
We hope these reports inspire you to share your reports too and check back often to read other adventures.

We'll have to agree to agree on that, dude! :D
