So, usually people say how many dives they had on their suit before it passed on. I've found there is another variable to consider. Will you be wearing your suit between dives and doing light or heavy surface work in it? This can have a significant impact in lower suit wear points.
Even light commercial work or scientific survey type dives can start showing up as wear on your suit when spending all day in it, packing between many dive locations, tending other divers, etc...
In my case my light shell suit developed long wear lines on the ridges of folds on the inside of both legs. It wore through the outer material and into the barrier layer before I noticed it, around 300 dives on it.
Anyone else put in routine long days in their suit and find this true/false?
