These are some of the mods I have made to my UTD Plus Sidemount. The wing is the older one with 37lbs of lift.

I tried the Diverite butt plate but thought it was to big for my needs so I purchased the Golem gear butt plate and I really do like the smaller size and the smaller handles. I needed a way to attach it to the harness so I used some old XSScuba CAM strap weight pockets and put a couple of grommets along the bottom edge and put them on the waist strap facing in.

Then on the inner two holes I attached my Golem butt plate and my lift bag since most of my diving is done in open water. I can also attach my can light to the outside holes.

From the back.

Then I added trim/weight pockets down the back of the by adding a 2 webbing, couple XSScuba pockets.

Added loop bungees using another piece of two webbing.

I really like the way it dives and even took my cavern coarse in it without any problems (minus the lift bag)

Looks really good, nice and clean. Any in-water pictures with this rig?
