Hi
 I was not able to get out and dive this weekend....so just wondering what and where any board members might be diving this weekend....or is it a BIG Secret?

If I can't dive I like to read about what I am missing...

Hey Anne,

I was out yesterday diving the keystorm just outside of brockville. Conditions were just amazing. Bottom temp was about 55 F at 115 ft. Water was nearly flat with some current. Dove EANx30 which gave me some great bottom time. The ride out on the boat was a little long and definitely chilly, but well worth the price of admission. That one's a definite repeat when the weather gets warm again.

Hi Warren,
I have not been on the Keystorm yet.
Sounds interesting...I hope to get out to it soon.
Thanks

A rare dive boat still on the water went to Eastcliffe Hall, so I signed up for a charter. Still one of the best wreck in the area. Water still a confy 53 F in drysuit, viz around 35 feet, what a great way to spend an October afternoon.... too bad the diving ops will become fewer and fewer as the upcoming weeks will progress.

The only downside... when I left for Chrysler Park Marina this morning at 7, I had to scrape the frost off my windows... :)

I was diving at bigbay point in Barrie today,
there was a treasure dive with one of the shops in toronto.
wow for 15$ we got some great prizes, i love to see the suppliers and shops supporting the sport and divers this way. I wonder are there many other places that do fun dives like this ?:)

Wow, I have seen many picture of the Keystorm (or any other wreck in the Thousand Islands) in my diving life, but those two longshots are by far the best and clearest I've ever seen. Congratulations!

The boats that I know of that run to the Keystorm are:

Thousand Islands Pleasure Divers (http://www.islanddiver.ca)
Abucs (http://www.divebrockville.com/)

When the boats stop running the Keysotrm gets lonely. Thousand Islands usually has a boat in the longest, and has one of the best captains around.

For those who think the dive season is over, I'd suggest it is just getting better. True, the air and water temps are getting a tad cooler but the visibility is improving.

These are from the America in Brockville.

Shoot Marvin, that's some might fine photos bud!!!

I'm severely green with envy.

Damn fine shots.

I was just there 2 weekends ago, and the vis was poor from 0 to 70 ft, then it got a little clearer.

My video was "spotty" at best. The current was up too, as I recall. When you came around the stern, it was a bit of a swim.

I went through the same hole as the diver in your last photo too.

The vis inside was great, BEFORE I got there :-)

heheheh

Well done, bud. Can you tell I'm impressed?

S'truth the Keystorm was fabulous on Saturday - I was out on the same boat as Wlo93.

This wreck has size, interest, a variety of skill levels, mild current, It was totally awesome. The viz was amazing.

Out again today, but at the JC Morrison in Barrie, a mild 50 degrees, a little seasonal drizzle. Fabulous viz (for the Morrison anyway);)
Could be cooler water, less algae - or less divers???
