Had an amazing first drift dive ever on Aug 7 in the Chippawa Creek - what a blast ! 40 minutes of fun with lots of interesting things to see.

Having never done a drift dive before I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an incredible experience that I'm looking forward to repeating!

Temps were in the 70s - super comfy in 5mm.

Down near Niagara Falls on the Canadian Side. You need to go with someone who knows the creek & the dive locations. From time to time the power company reverses flow, which can be deadly.

How many golf balls did you come across? I agree Chip is a lot of fun.

No golf balls ... it was my first time, so I was enjoying the "ride" ... saw a fair amount of bottles though - oh and a submerged jet ski .... 'cause you don't want that back?

One of the divers in the group grabbed a fish - that was pretty amusing.

For sure it's a ride!
