hi
i have some questions about the efr courses if thats ok.

1) which level of efr do you have to have to do the padi rescue course?
2) when you refresh your skills evry 24 months do you get a new card?
3) do you have to do a refresher course?

In this context, EFR stands for a company called Emergency First Response, who provide training in basic first aid. They are a PADI affiliate.

1) Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid), or equivalent. Care for Children is nice, but not required for the Rescue course. Equivalent can be training by any recognized agency who provides CPR and first aid training. In England those would probably be agencies who follow guidelines of the Resuscitation Council. I suspect that includes the Red Cross.

2) Usually. You should insist on some verification of your refresher training.

3)Recommended, but only required for certain advanced training courses, such as Divemaster, and by some employers.
