I'll be there on a cruise ship and they have a shore excursion set up with Nassau Scuba Center for $110 for a two tank dive. That's a bit steep and I wanted to see if I could do better setting up my own dives.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Here's an active thread on that topic that appears just below in the Caribbean forum---->

I think I'll check out Sunskiff.

Stuart Coves...They have it all including a shark dive where they feed hundreds of big reef sharks. They'll even pick you up at the boat.

I'll second the vote for Stuart Cove's although I did not do it off a cruise ship.

...it is a great dive shop with a great staff.
If you do the shark dives, they video tape it and you can get a copy for $50 or so right after the dive.
I highly recommend them!

I third it!

I've used them and Nassau Scuba Centre - - though nothing at all wrong with NSC - - - I really liked Stuart Coves

Based on what I've heard/read, I think I'll give Stuart's Cove a hard look.

You won't be disappointed. I'll be taking my family back there the week after Christmas.
