A group of divers and I had the great opportunity recently to dive some beautiful wrecks up in B.C.: the Capilano, Gulf Stream and Sceptre Squamish. John Rawlings and I then pieced together a story that describes the history of each wreck along with narratives and photos of them from the modern day perspective. This trip confirmed what I already knew: Vancouver Island is simply one of the best places in the world to dive in cold water, with pristine marine habitats and a government that actively seeks to preserve and support its maritime history and local dive industry.
