Howard Park, Tarpon Springs, FL...Closed?

I read an article saying that the beach and the waters around it were closed due to bacteria in the water this was maybe three weeks ago. Does anyone know if it has cleared up? Also if it has cleared up I am thinking about going to dive the ledge and sink with some friends on Sunday September 11, 2011. Is anyone else interested in going, I have never been and would love to have someone exprienced in the site come along or anyone who wants to dive. Let me know!
