Lobster limit question

In light of the recent "interesting Lobster Regulation" thread, I had a question. I see that some of our local dive charters offer multiple day charters for bug catchers during lobster season. My question is how would you get around the 7 per limit at a time? Or do u go out for 3 days and if u catch ur limit the first day that's it (unless you're gorging yourself as you go?)
Secondly, having never been on one of these lobster season charters, how do they operate as for storage of your bugs?

The boat gets a multi day permit from the DFG. Most of the boats have live wells where you store your well marked bag of bugs.
