Do you guys prefer to build your own tech log or purchase one off the shelf? If you design one yourself, what are the key things you would include or leave out? (MOD, mix, deco stage, integration of dive plan, consumption rate, blah blah blah)... care to share your creation? I'm creating my own style of log, seeking opinions...

Because I use VPlanner for all of my tech dives, I copy its plan and paste it into my dive log. The only thing I usually add is comments about the dive.

I use V-Planner the same way since I am on CCR. However, PADI has a technical log in .pdf format that is downloadable on their site for free if you are looking for ideas.

[Cave Diver]

I made my own recently. It has the flexibility to do pretty much everything from BOW through advanced nitrox, cave and trimix dives. Time and a few more dives will tell if I left anything out.
