Dear Ikelite
Should the black plastic retaining nuts, which appear to be there in an effort to retain the mount fixing nuts in place inside the case, themselves be fixed to the case?

Mine aren't and have a habit of coming of inside the case during a dive.
If so, any ideas because mine are loose? (I'm currently trying Blutack in an attempt to get them to stay put)

Thanks

Scubadog,

The black plastic nut retainers are there to keep the tray mounting bolt nuts from possibly vibrating loose during shipping. You may use thin two sided tape to re-affix the retainers. If the nut retainers cannot be adequately re-affixed, make sure the mounting bolt nuts are tight before a dive. Avoid using glues or silicones on the plastic housing.

If you wish to order new nut retainers, send a request to ikelite@ikelite.com.

Regards,

Thanks Brett
Appreciate your fast response as I have had problems with the mounting bolt nuts loosening up.
I'll try double sided-tape if blutack fails - cheers.
