I caught my first lobster ''barehanded'' yesterday.
Not bare-handed per say, but I didn't use a net / lasso
I did however use my 3 foot liontamer to coax him out of the hole
I've seen people just reach their arm into the hole and eventually wrestle the lobster out, but that's a little too extreme for me. I also have a strong suspicion that I would end up getting poked by a lionfish, or sea urchin, or stinger of some sort
