Guys/girls...I have a Woody Mag that I want some advice on the bands. I want to get away from the metal band connects due to failure injuries during reload. I have looked into some non metallic line but first wanted to see if anyone else has used something similar.

Riffe has Kevlar "wishbones".
I use Kevlar gloves & regular wire wishbones, no cuts that way, just good slaps.;)

Spearfishing Specialties bands last a long time and are black rubber, generally regarded as the strongest. They have SS wire wish bones which will not get cut on the band nocks which can happen to Kevlar.Try www.spearboard.com for some advice on lengths and composition.
