I'm new to Brevard Co and have been land-locked for a while. I would like to get the technical training past Openwater that gears it's self toward public saftey. I'm already a firefighter/EMT going through Medic school. I would like to get the tech. series, but was wondering if there are any shops out there that cater towards people who want multiple classes and offer different series as Packages. Also would help if shop was "in the family" so to speak and had classes that cater more to the public saftey type schedual... Thanks :D

greetings Meganc922! I'm just down the road from you a bit in Indian River County and I'm an old public safety diver (and Paramedic). Lots of good dive training available here. The DRI classes at IRSC are supposed to be quite good.
Also look at ERDI which is based in Jensen Beach, Florida (International Training :: Home :: :: English (http://www.tdisdi.com)). They run public safety dive stuff as well as solid advanced technical diving.
These days i'm a homeland security consultant and still work heavily here in florida with various agancies. Feel free to tag me with any questions.
