Has anyone dove here? The park website lists diving as an activity and above water it looks very promising but I'd hate to hump my gear down to the beach to find only mud. Any comments about what the bottom and currents are like would be much appreciated. I decided at the last minute to camp there this weekend... planning to head to Edmonds on Saturday but it would be nice to be able to dive without the 1.5h drive.

Thanks!

There are dives on fidalgo Isaland which are not far from you camping area.

washington park, skyline wall, rosario, or even keystone for first dive, fill tank in oak harbor and dive one of the other sites on fidalgo.
