I have one question:

If i take a larger FlatPort for my Macro_Lens, are there any problems ?

I have a Nikon D300 and want to use a Nikon 85 VR Macro Lens.
Ikelite chart says to use a 5505 Port.

Now i´m planning to use a 5505.5
Only different: it is a little bit longer.

Causes of the longer Port:
a better buoyancy
possibility to use other lenses, TCs or Diopters

Then only problem you will have is if you get it too long then you will see the edge of the port in your pictures. Have you looked at Stix Floats?

Thanks for reply.

Stix Floats i already have, and dont like them so much.

The black corners could be a problem. I think i have to buy a port and try out.
If there are the corners, i´ll send it back to the dealer.

Corners are no problem. Port could be more then 2 inch longer, without any edges of the port in the pictures.
I think i am going with the new Modular Flatport and some extensions.
Thanks to all
Michael
