Three lousy weeks of windy weather!

Has anyone been out? Forecast might call for calm day on Thursday and maybe Friday morning. I was wondering if the gulf stream is in close enough to have clear water over the deeper wrecks or reefs.

Guy

2-3 feets seas; 50 ft vis yesterday. Starting to clear up slowly; the rest of the week is looking better. I am going out on Sunday with JDC with students and hopefully conditions will be better.

We just booked with Scuba Works/Blue Tang for a quick trip tomorrow.

Tomorrow is supposed to be nice weather, and maybe Friday morning, but winds are picking up on Friday. The weekend is supposed to be a real blow-out with winds over 18 knots and gusts in the mid 20s. Seas 4-6 feet or higher. Just wanted you all to know.

With all this windy weather, we are having diving withdrawal, and so decided to ditch work tomorrow morning. I can always work on Sunday to make up!

yeah...if this forecast holds we'll have to cancel sunday's dive.

Saturday: E wind around 17 kt, with gusts as high as 24 kt. A slight
chance of showers. Seas around 6 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate
chop.

Saturday Night: ENE wind around 16 kt. A slight chance of
showers. Seas 5 to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.

Sunday:
E wind 15 to 17 kt, with gusts as high as 24 kt. A slight chance of showers.
Seas around 5 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.

that looks awful. so I guess Thursday it is. what is with this weather lately?

The NOAA forecast is even worse than the one you put in. Wind blowing by Thursday night and seas 4-6 by Friday and 7-9 over the weekend.

This weather is driving us crazy! Can't even get decent dives at the Bridge!

I went out on Monday out of Pompano, seas were 4+ and about 5 sec. apt. the boat ride was tough, but once we got into the water viz was good and there was almost 0 current at 50fsw.

I'm looking to get out to Jupiter in early or late December. Does it usually clear up by then? Trying to get in 1 more good dive before the kid is born and I'm on a prolonged surface interval :)

weather seems hit or miss this season. more miss than usual! I'm going to try and get out 1 more time between thanksgiving and Dec 9. After the 9th, i'll be on a cruise with a dive schedule in Grand Cayman
