Venice Beach, shark tooth diving

My husband and I are heading down to Sarasota the day after Thanksgiving. We plan on going over to Venice Beach for some shark tooth diving. Where in the Venice area can we rent tanks?
Is there a certain area would should dive from? We only have shorty wetsuits, should we plan on renting full wetsuits?
Any other suggestions or places to dive in the area?

Water temps are dropping. It's hard to say exactly how cold it will be at the end of the month. I didn't dive Venice near Thanksgiving last year, but in '01 temps were 73°F. In 2000, we had a colder winter and temps had already dropped to 64°F. Check with me a little closer to T day and I should have info on how quickly temps are dropping this year.
