What is your favorite wreck to dive and why? Is it the Carribe Sea because of the sharks? Or maybe it's the Schurz because of the ammo locker. The U-352? The Papoose? Let's hear from everybody.

It is far enough offshore that most of the googans don't go there, it is deep enough to keep other googans away, and the vis is usually off the scale wild. I think that everytime I go there we see hundreds of different species of fish(including the typical Sandtigers, Sandbar, and Nurse Sharks), there are spineys sometimes, and slippers, and artifacts still to be found. I have been on the Papoose, Hutton, Indra, and the 352 up there in Morehead land, but I always love to come back home to the Hyde, Gill, Cassimir, Nashville, Houston, Hyde, Markham, Dredge, and especially the Normannia. Tom grumpygrouper August 11th, 2005, 12:11 AM Hum I think I liked the U-352 the best. GrierHPharmD August 13th, 2005, 09:14 AM The Normannia is my favorite NC Wreck. Tom Hi Tom, Which operator do you like for those wrecks? fpsndiver August 13th, 2005, 10:03 AM Hi Tom, Which operator do you like for those wrecks? We usually go out there on my dive buddy's private boat, but as far as charters go, I have only used Aquatic Safaris. (910)392-4fun or www.aquaticsafaris.com. They are pretty experienced with the Normannia runs. Tom coop1 August 14th, 2005, 05:03 PM Top three wrecks for me 1) Far East Tanker (Tamapaluis) 2) Naeco (bow) 3) tie- Naeco (stern) and Esso Nashville Why? as was mentioned above, they're far enough out to keep too many people from picking them clean...
