A picture says more than a thousand words......here a video report of our October & November 2011 safaris which gives you an idea about diving in the Maldives.
The video is shot with a canon s95 (!) in an ikelite housing. Actually this is a photo camera but because of the strong currents we need something small and this little canon still shoots 720p video.

great clip! was there alot of rain when you were there? What's the boat that you went with?

Last season was a great season, not too much wind and rain and plenty of sharks, mantarays and whalesharks. The only disappointing thing was that Hanifaru Bay was rubbish.
We organize these trips with the Dhinasha but we are currently looking to buy our own boat as our contract ends after our Autumn season in October & November 2012.

Most shots were shot in uw modus, some with an L&M sola 500 video light and some others with a Fantasea M67 BigEye wide angle (Mantarays). The video light and wide angle we borrowed from our guests to try them out but we will get them ourselves.

We have a whole collection of videos from our last couple of years on the tube: Duiksafaris's Channel - YouTube
