Hi,

I have a fujifilm finepix f80 exr and underwater housing. I want o buy a wide angle lense Fantasea BigEye Lens For Fuji WP-FXF80 + WP-FXF100 + WP-FXF200 - Best Price at Bristol Cameras (http://www.bristolcameras.co.uk/p-fantasea-bigeye-lens-for-fuji-wp-fxf100-wp-fxf200.htm) for it and will also require a strobe. The one I have seen is http://www.amazon.co.uk/FujiFilm-P10N077010A-Fujifilm-Underwater-Strobe/dp/B000SQI3RI/ref=sr_1_12?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1325719619&sr=1-12. My question is that the strobe works as a slave but within the specifications of the lens it says that it obstructs the flash on the camera itself. Will there be enough light getting out to activate the strobe? or is there another way of firing it? I may be completely misunderstanding the operation of them and asking a stupid question, Thanks

I have the 200 EXR with the same problem - with the built in diffuser on the underwater housing, it lowers the power output of the strobe and I was curious if it would be enough to fire a slave strobe. I had some problems with my older Reefmasters, so when I upgraded to a single, more powerful strobe - the YS-120, I invested in a fibre optic cable as well. I modified the cable slightly to fit the hole on the strobe's diffuser and away we go! Works awesome!
Good luck to you!!

Thanks for that, I think I'll give it a try!
