Sure alot of people hang up there wetsuits for the year, but there are those who choose to dive year 'round.

Some people choose shore dives for the "other" season....but I prefer the boats. First, you need to find one that actually go out and a heated cabin is a must. Some boats even throw in some hot soup.

I know the Jeanne II, Dina Dee and Outlaw will be going out all winter.

As cold as it was yesterday (sunday), there were almost 10 people on the Outlaw. a few slips downin Belmar Marina, the Venture III looked to have about the same number.

The air was a chilly 40....but the water was 57 straight to the bottom.

p.s. bring a thermos of hot water for that 2nd dive. Nothing like putting hoods and gloves on when they ice cold....
