I'm getting mixes reviews and since I live 90 -120 mins from the ocean I'm looking for advice. San Diego to LA how does the diving look? 1/9 - 1/16

Laguna or Vets is what I'm most interested in since my newest Dive buddies are near there.

Hope is clears this week cause I need my fix!!

Vis was 20 feet a couple miles west of Point Dume on Monday night. In my limited experience outside Malibu, other areas such as Laguna and Palos Verdes have poorer vis in the winter and better vis in the summer.

I thought California waters had better visibility in the winter. Is this true for the Channel Islands?

Reports on Laguna Beach (shaws cove) today was 60 degrees, 1-2 surf, VIS 15'. Weather looks good for Saturday.
Would love to get out at Divers or Shaws Sat morning around 9-10am for a 1-tank dive.
