apex WTX harness belt question

does any one know how I can loosen up the buckle and the belt.
I have arthritis in my hands and I have so much trouble opening and closing the buckle on the waist belt.

There has to be a solution out there. I just love the bc and want to solve this situation before I take it in the water

Grind, sand, or file the part that closes applying pressure onto the webbing itself. I have done this a couple of times using a die grinder with sand paper, and have had success. You could also replace the buckle.
