Following Rick's recommendations

(1) How big is the critter? - 5mm
(2) Where in the world is the critter? East Coast of UAE, Gulf of Oman
(3) What sort of habitat (reef, wreck, sand, rubble etc) is the critter in? - Rubble
(4) How deep is the critter? - 15M
(5) What time of day (or night) did you see the critter? - Day time
(6) Any observed behavior of the critter... - Usual nudibranch crawling slug like behavior
(7) If the locals have a common name for the critter, what is it? - No

One of my friends replied in an e-mail

Looks like the European Okenia but I need to check. Want to say luteocincta but...

Anyone on the forum have an idea?

Apparently it is a Diaphorodoris species, which one? ......... well that remains to be solved, samples on their way to a nudibranch expert.

Diaphododoris mitsuii is close, not 100%

Hi Wart,

Colours on rhinophores and gills match but the yellow on the back is missing.
