Looking for a dive buddy... Catalina on President's Day (Feb 20th)

Hello all,

I'm an east coast diver who will be on travel in California on February 20th. I'd like to see if I can locate a dive buddy on Catalina for a couple of dives. I haven't been diving there before, so it would be great to find someone who knows the routine there.

I'll buy lunch!

We are talking about heading to Catalina on Saturday morning (Leaving our house Friday after work) and departing late morning or early afternoon on Monday. No idea what schedule we have as we don't have one. Never been to the island so I have no exact information, but there is a sticky at the top of the forum with tons of excellent information.

You might want to clarify whether you are going for the day, planning on boat diving, taking a dive boat out to the islands, etc.
