Anyone on here ever use a Mini Maglite aa while diving? Nothing extreme, probably 15-20 meters.

I've used a AA mine mag light for snorkeling, 1.5 meter max depth. It flooded.
Maglites are water resistant not waterproof. It's not ment to be submerged

They are not designed as a dive light.

Folks have converted them by adding gaskets, modifying the electronics, using the battery tube for HID power, etc. With all the options Now out there (LED bulbs, lights that last 10 hours on 3-AAA batteries) why bother.

Won't work. I have flooded other mag lights before just by pool swimming with them. What are you using it for? Back up light? If you are looking for a cheap back up light, you might want to look at the Princeton Tec Tec-40: Princeton Tec Tec-40 *Buy Princeton Tec at DIVESEEKERS.com 888-SCUBA-47. Its only about $18 from this particular site. Good luck and good diving!
