I know this is an older camera, but I have one that I bought new and have maybe 3 hours use on it. I would really like to find a reasonably priced housing for it. If you have one you aren't using, let's see if we can make a deal.

I follow Sony HDR threads since I shoot one in an EVO. Surprisingly the other day one of my eBay searches turned this up - Ikelite Underwater Video Housing for Sony HDR HC-1(HDV 1080i) + HDR-Ai-E (1080i) | eBay
It's new, no bids yet and the starting bid is $400 with a couple of days left.

I have a mint condition Light and Motion housing for the Sony HC-1. It comes with a Fathoms WA port, and L&M Standard, WA, and Macro ports. It also was retrofitted for their new LCD monitor back. Email me at steve-sharksdelight@cox.net if you are interested.

A huge difference between the quality of Ikelite and the higher end housings such as Gates and Light and Motion. The opticals of a Fathoms port has nothing that comes close.

I understand, but for what I'm going to do with it, a $400 housing is fine.
