With the Maldives known for whale sharks and Manta action and of course Hanifaru becoming well known not a lot of people know that some operators are reaching out for new and exciting places...one such place is in the southern part of the Maldives in an atoll called Huvadhoo where there is a special place we visit every week we are in the area.

We turn on lights at about 8 pm and the food chain appears...around 9 to 10 pm the Whale sharks appear...and can go on all night.

Here is a short clip of how we interact with them in this situation. No diving, or even fins. Just relax and watch for as long as you can stay awake.

This video was shot from the M/V Aquarius which runs a longer itinerary in the southern atolls but the M/V Orion just announced it's southern Itinerary for next year so go to the website below and check it out or email our booking manager.

Very nice, I think the Remoras look like dreadlocks.
