My husband and I are going to Key Largo in May and are thinking about diving with Scuba Do. I haven't found much on the boards about them so I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice. I'm a very new diver just got certified in December in Cozumel. I like the idea that they send a dive master with you on all dives and the boat is still smaller than what I've read about Rainbow Reef so that's why I'm looking at booking with them.

My other question is.....my husband is getting his Nitrox certification because he's an air hog. Since this will be our first time doing this, is it normal that since he still needs weights to to pay the full price for diving with weights and tank included and then pay extra for the nitrox tank. They said that the tanks and weight with their operation are included in the price for free so that's why if he dives with nitrox he would have to pay the extra. We're new to the nitrox world so any advice would be great. Thanks!

I dove with them for 3 days and had a great time. They only put 6 to 8 people on the boat, help switching gear, and are very friendly. They let us do a double dive on the Spiegal which was great! Yes, usually pay extra for Nitrox, not weights.

Nitrox won't help with his being an air hog. If he wants to increase his time underwater, he will need larger tanks.

Nitrox is usually an extra 5 bucks a tank around here (N Broward, S and C Palm Beach)

Sorry....should of clarified. Scuba Do said there's a dive shop next door that has 100 tanks that are nitrox. That's why he's thinking about getting nitrox certified. Does anyone know of a dive shop in Key Largo that has normal 100 tanks?

I'm more then sure the shop will fill the tanks with 21%, but you should always call and check for tank availability and desired nitrox mixture
