Reading news this morning I found this story about a small but amazing group of working diver's. I know this should go to the Commercial Divers forum but I just wanted to tip my hat to these people.
Men and women who dive into the The reactors fuel pools and dive in radiated water at nuclear power plants for a living! This is just an awesome bit of reading...

I just heard something on NPR recently about Fukushima clean-up divers (and surface crews) that they expect will die a much earlier death as a result of their cleanup efforts. I'm glad someone's willing to do these things but I don't think I could ever do it.
