[CHAMBER DAY & EVE 2012 - WEDNESDAY, MAY 2 - SAVE THE DATE!!!]

While our update yesterday illustrated the power of individual contributions,
the update today illustrates the power of an organization banding their
individual members together to make a powerful impact.

Hat's off to Eco Dive Center in Culver City who Tuesday night handed Karl
Huggins a check for $6,460 . . . and they say they've STILL collecting funds.

Eco decided this year that, instead of taking tables at Ch-Eve, they would
concentrate their efforts on getting their customers to collectively donate to
our Chamber. They've run some promotions and giveaways and taken some straight
donations and have come up with this impressive sum, which pushes us over
$15,000 total!!!

But their efforts in mobilizing their customer base show how important it is
for stores and clubs to get behind this effort to raise funds for our Chamber.
Those of you who are in charge of such institutions have a closer relationship
with your customer/member base than anyone else in this industry does. And if
something like supporting our Chamber is important to you, and you tell your
customer base how important it is, they'll join you in that support.

So we hope many of you will follow the example of Eco Dive Center (if you
haven't started doing so already) by asking your folks to pitch in and support
our Chamber. So who’s next? Who will help get us closer to $20,000?
