Just getting into using V- Planner this spring and I was wondering what people were using for there conserative setting? Maybe you always set it at 3. Or maybe you start at 3 then tweak up or down to fit a dive plan for you and your buddie or team for that matter.

I use +2 with vpmb, but also use the other algorithms to compare.

v-planner on notebook, and its multideco variant on my droid.

I use +2 as well for all my V-Planner runs.

Hello Parsons,

As I see it:

First, you should know some basic behinds the model
second, test the same gases with the identical algorithm and conservatism
third, ones you diceded what conservatism to use, always know the least amount of deco time in case of an emergency which is implicit studying the 0 conservatism on the model

Note: +2 conservatism

My best,
C
