[CHAMBER DAY & EVE 2012 - WEDNESDAY, MAY 2 - SAVE THE DATE!!!]

What a nice weekend it's turned out to be because we can announce a large donation that puts us over $32,000!!!

Our friends at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point (in conjunction with one of
their donors) have once again joined the growing list of Chamber supporters with
a very generous $7,000 Platinum level donation. The Ocean Institute is all about
teaching kids all kinds of things about the ocean, one of which is obviously the
need to have a safety net for divers. They will also have two tables at Chamber
Evening as another way of teaching their students all about what the ocean has
to offer. We appreciate the continued support and are quite happy to be part of
their learning process.

We hope you share their commitment to education about the ocean. In terms of
our Chamber, we're not only there for emergencies, but your contributions over
the years have helped us expand our outreach programs where we go out and talk
about various aspects of diving to interested groups. The goal here is
prevention through education because we've always felt that better-informed
divers make better decisions that can help them avoid a trip to the Chamber.
Your contributions help us keep that going.

Go to our website (www.chamberday.org) and make an on-line donation. Help
push us towards our next waypoint of $35,000? Who's next???
