We've got a week to go and we're past $43,000!!!!

Gotta love anonymity. the Ocean Institute has a major donor who also donates to us in their name. he called earlier this week and said, "What’s this I hear about you need a new compressor?" I told him the story and he said, "Well, let's kick in another $5,000 towards that compressor. Call it seed money and we'll see if anyone else will join me." This also puts his total donation to us on behalf of ocean institute at $12,000 so we're moving them up to the Diamond level.

We also welcome Teddy Janulis to the fold. He's a former Our World Underwater scholar and that's how he knows Karl and even though Teddy lives in New York, he understands the value of supporting the Chamber not only for the work the Chamber does locally, but for the research it does that benefits divers everywhere.

So how about you? We're starting the final countdown to Chamber Day 2012 and we've definitely got some work to do to hit our overall Challenge goal of $50,000 by next Wednesday. We can't do it without you. Whatever amount you can afford, it will be put to good use. Please go to our website (www.chamberday.org), make an on-line donation, and give us a push towards the finish line.
