With five days still to go . . . we've passed $50,000!!!! Wow. (And this
doesn't count anything we might get from the Compressor Challenge.)

We got a HUGE push Friday morning (and what a great way it was to start the
day) from Scott Bruce & Ronnie Chen. They called us and announced they were
making a $3,000 donation. While that would have been terrific in and of itself,
what made it even better was that because Scott works for Google, and Google has
a very generous corporate matching grant program, Google throws in another
$3,000 to make their total gift worth $6,000 which outs them on the Platinum
level.

Scott & Ronnie's contribution underscores not only the importance of
individual generosity to our Chamber, but how if your company has matching grant
program, you can magnify the value of your participation. (And to be clear, this
came in before we got the Compressor Challenge offer so we can't/shouldn’t count
this towards that.)

So it was a pretty exiting day yesterday. But we shouldn't let the excitement
die down. We've got a chance to beat the all-time record for most money ever
raised through the overall Chamber Challenge. But we can only do it when YOU
take time to contribute. the finish line is in sight. Will you help us get
there? Who's next????
