Jeremy's day off today, a contract DM named Mario instead. Dives were still good, but the DM seemed like he had ADD compared to Jeremy's slow and slower style, I found myself having to constantly kick to keep him in sight instead of the slow drift that I'd otherwise would have done, plus I must be as saturated as I've ever been, narrowly escaping deco the first dive, and even on the second one diving on 32%. Honestly have no idea where we dove today, so I'll just call it Palancar something (plenty of swimthroughs, so maybe Caves?) 90' max for 62 min, second dive was maybe Cedar again, 80' max for 60 min. Left the camera in the room today, just didn't feel like lugging it. Tomorrow is fly day, back to la casa so I'm done reporting. It's been fun, thank you all for your patience.

Now that you are done diving, you should be able to party and drink a bit more.:cool2:

Drink before flying tomorrow? Now that's living on the edge. I'm just looking forward to breakfast.
Actually I did manage to catch up with the blonde I've been "stalking" - met her outside the OG while waiting for Jim yesterday so he can vouch for her cuteness. Met her again at the bar last night, managed to talk her and her friend into accompanying me and my new "friends" to the weird carnival-like thing going on at the little old town that isn't San Miguel (is it called Cedral? That's what it sounded like). Found her and her friend at the pool today, sat with them for a while, now we're each doing our respective reserved dinners, but we're definitely meeting up at the lobby bar tonight unless I get stood up. Wish me luck!

I had a few dive days with Mario in December. A bit more cardio oriented then I like on drift dives, but every DM is different and I'm just happy to be under water. He really loves what he does and is a fun, happy, full of stories guy. After our first day with him a couple divers on the boat did ask him to slow down, and he did. Surprisingly, for someone who moves at a brisker pace, he's got a really good eye and found us some neat stuff. If you ever have him as the DM again, talk to him before the dive and ask that he keep a slower pace. He'll be happy to do it.
