Looking to head up to Gilboa on Memorial Day weekend. Like early Sunday morning and dive Sunday and Monday. What I need is a buddy for the deep side. It will be my first trip up there and a guide would be nice. Prefer someone with tech training. Planning on acclimation dives Sunday afternoon, camp there, and deep side on Monday. Give me a shout if you're going to be there and would not mind a buddy. For those who don;t know me. SEI/CMAS/SDI/TDI instructor, NAUI Helitrox, Ice certed, couple dozen dives in Erie. Deepest so far -St James at 165.

Hi Jim,

I haven't figured out what my plans are for memorial weekend yet. But there is a possibility that I will head to Gilboa to get wet. Will let you know.

Thanks Mike. I'm definitely going. I talked to them yesterday and with the 8000 or so new fish he's putting in it should be pretty cool.

Mike,

I might be interested in a trip down. The DPV is ready to go and I need to redeem myself.

Jeff,

No redeeming needed. Its all part of diving. I'll let everyone know as I figure out what I am going to do. :D

My yougest kid walks on Saturday of that weekend so we will not be headed to Thunder bay.... Gilboa just might do just fine! I will be just back from a long company trip and the odds are pretty good that my gear might be a little salty so I will deffinitely need some soak time in fresh water!
