I'm a Fish!
Finally taking my Tech 1with UTD next month. Anyone who has taken the course can give any advise on what to look out for?

Have your basic skills solid. Know your drills. You will be expected to handle issues in midwater, so be able to tolerate some task-loading there.

The bottom line in my class was being able to make decisions and analyze issues during a dive. To do that, you have to have your basic diving skills at the "relegated to the subconscious" level.

Thanks Lynne.

Hey Randy, when I did mine I wondered why I even brought a mask, seemed like it was never on my face. You will have no problems, enjoy.

Good to know Jay

I could tell you, but then, your instructor would have to kill you.

...they'll kill you anyway...and besides, being killed is where the learning really happens.

All the best, James
